How God Works
So we only had 3 people show tonight (Rich, Doug, myself). Lots of storm damage earlier, so many people were occupied..so we proceed to little Caesars (grab 12 pizzas). Next thing I know Annete Faulkner pulls in!!!! We tell her she is going out with us for a few hours (Annete is one of a kind awesome lady). We go pick up her grandkids and off we go.. We cannot go out to our normal spot, as we do not have our normal women aboard to minister to the prostitutes Etc. We head down 21st and find some homeless guys (very interesting stories they shared) they eat, we fellowship, discuss life, we pray, give them our number, we leave. We hit a few low income hotels off 27th and Memorial, Handing out lots of pizzas and ministering to folks. Some guy approaches myself and the gentlemen I’m speaking with (he asks if we have some crack to sell??????). Yep, that happened! Anyway, the night continued with more opportunities to share God’s word. Here is the best part!! Annette’s grandson (Carlton) proceeds to come down the stairs to get off the bus, and he asked a question. “What is difference between Catholics and Christians?” Wow! From an 11 year kid!!! So we answered the question etc. He then tells us he wants to give his life to Jesus in saving faith!!! Boom! That’s how God works! His life was forever changed tonight! He accepted Jesus around 9:45 tonight in the post office parking lot, on a double decker bus! Not a coincidence that Annete happened to be at Little Caesars tonight! God changes our plans for his glory! He had the night mapped out, while we just followed his GPS. He is faithful and mighty to save!! So thankful!
