Hope on the Streets

Last night on the bus was eventful. Our normal team was limited. We had a few people cancel on us. We did not have any women serving with us. It is very difficult to minister to ladies on the streets without having women on the bus.  There were LOTS of ladies working the streets last night. We did have an opportunity to speak to one, Jamie. We have met her before. She’s been on the streets for eight years.  She explained that she is tired of the life. However, she desires to continue to take care of her boyfriend financially.  She was coming off a dose of fentanyl while we were talking with her.  Please pray for her. When someone decides to get sober, they must do this for themselves. Next, we met Barry. Barry has been on the streets for quite a few years. He came here from California. He previously owned an automotive customization shop. It is his dream to do that again one day. He must get off the drugs before this happens. We gave him our contact information. We explained that we would like to take him out to eat and spend time with him. He acted excited to do that. Please pray for him, as well as all of the others we ministered to. The fentanyl on the streets is overwhelming. It is a dangerous game. There was literally a guy standing behind the bus trying to cross Admiral high on fentanyl, he came close to getting hit. It gets crazy out there. The Lord can rescue from the dominion of darkness.. HE REIGNS.
