God’s Timing Is Perfect: 18 Months of Seeds, One Night of Salvation

How the Lord works! This never gets old!!!!

The Lord showed up in a big way last night on the bus. We hit the streets and it was powerful.  The Lord sent us Elizabeth. She is 18 years old. She is developmentally delayed. She had been in the foster care system up until recently. Her foster parents dropped her off at a hotel as soon as she turned 18. She is in a rough spot. Lord willing we are going to get her some help. Please pray that she calls us. She has no business being out on those streets. She does not use drugs. Her biological parents are drug addicts. They are out on the streets as well.  We also found Toya once again. She just got done using. She was not in a good state of mind. Our ladies were able to talk to her for a little while though. Please continue to pray for her. She has so much potential.  Now here is where it gets awesome. We have been ministering to a gentleman named Jacob for about 18 months now. He is homeless. His mother is homeless and his brother is homeless. They come from multi generations of drug use. Jacob was standing out there holding another lady‘s purse. She apparently was with a John somewhere. He was waiting for her to get back. Our guys were speaking to him at length once again about the gospel. The Lord has been slowly working on Jacobs heart as we have been ministering to him for quite some time now. Early on he was always on edge. As a matter of fact, one time he had a very large knife in his hand as one of our guys approached him.  He always was living in fear.  Last night was totally different. He was zeroed in on exactly what we were saying. He was listening intently. As a matter of fact, a woman came up and tried to take him away from us to bring him back to her apartment and use drugs. And his words were “no I’m not going with you  i’m  wanting to know about God”…  absolutely incredible. The night got even better. As we talked to him, he began to cry about his life. He’s 35 years old. He’s been out there on the streets for 10 years now. The drugs have taken a toll. Yet he was very sensitive to the spirit of the Lord. Jacob made the greatest decision of his life last night. Jacob accepted Jesus as his personal savior. He was so emotional. He  was so thankful. We look forward to seeing what the Lord is going to do in his life in the future. The Lord has a plan for his life. We have just the right resources to help him come off the streets. Please pray for Jacob. Please pray for his mother. Please pray for his brother. They need Jesus as well. Please pray for all of the others we minister too. The Lord reigns! He has risen!! So for those of you who think your prayers are falling on deaf ears, and the Lord is not working fast enough. Remember, he has the perfect timing. We ministered to Jacob for a solid 18 months or so. The Lord did what only he could do. He rescued souls from the dominion of darkness. The Lord is so faithful.
