Hope in the Rain

Last night on the bus was a little wet, but the Lord worked it all out. We hit the streets and almost immediately picked up a Hispanic gentleman who, in a powerful moment, began sharing the gospel with our driver in Spanish. What a blessing to witness the Lord at work through him.

Next, we connected with Deenia, whom we have ministered to in the past. She owns a home here in Tulsa, and we are currently helping her work toward getting back into it. The city has boarded it up and is attempting to condemn it, and she is also behind on her taxes. We were on the phone today with a case manager, and Lord willing, we will have a plan in place on Monday to move forward. Please pray for this situation, as there are many moving pieces involved.

We also met up with Jacob at a local QuikTrip and were able to minister to him for quite some time. Please pray for him! We would love to see him come off the streets, but he has to be ready to take that step.

In addition, we had the opportunity to minister to several individuals outside of the new homeless shelter. One of them is hoping to get a bus ticket out of town to live with his sister. Please pray that he follows through and calls us.

Please continue to pray for all of those we ministered to last night. The weather is beginning to change, and it will soon turn cold. Pray that these individuals become uncomfortable enough to seek out the help that is being offered to them.

HE REIGNS!
