Thunderstorm

Last night on the bus turned into a thunderstorm. However, God showed up, as HE usually does. We had many people serving with us. We hit the streets for a little while before it started raining. We ended up at the house again of a lady whom we’ve been ministering to, along with her teenage children. It was quite powerful. We are in the process of scheduling a volleyball game at her house. They are quite competitive. We will see who wins. Yet, the highlight of the night actually happened on the bus. We were joined by a gentleman who is homeless and lives in his vehicle. He wanted to come out and serve with us, which was quite powerful. He felt lead to give three dollars to a lady who is homeless and walking her dogs. It was quite powerful – here’s a guy who lives in his vehicle and has pretty much nothing, yet is willing to give up some money to someone else in need. It’s a reminder of Mark 12:41-44 regarding the poor widow who gave the three small coins. It was quite powerful to see. The Lord is faithful. Please pray for all the people we ministered to last night. Please pray for this gentleman who came out to serve with us – he has a full-time job, but he just doesn’t make much money. We look forward to getting him into his own housing in the future. The Lord will do the miraculous. The Lord provides. HE owns it all.
