A God Who Rescues
Stephen, Gene, Berry, Steve, Marie, Mike, Eddie, Miguel, Jonathan
—these are just a few of the folks we met on the bus last night.
We were able to pick up Gene and give him a ride, and he was so thankful. Gene is 70 years young and now has a bed at the new shelter on Admiral. He is a believer, and when he got off the bus, he asked if he could pray for all of us—and he did. It was powerful.
We also met Mike, a very kind man who suffered a stroke a few years ago. He is 64 years young and previously owned a successful landscaping company. He’s slowly getting back on his feet and is currently staying at a local hotel.
We met many others last night as well. The Lord is always at work. Please pray for everyone we encountered.
The Lord rescues. He reigns!
