Unique Stories
Constance , Cayden, Dustin, Michael, and Toya. These are just a few names that we met last night. Each one of these people have a unique story. We picked up Michael first. His foot was bothering him. He has a bunion that has been a problem for years. We were able to give hom a ride to his apartment. He heading home from seeing hos wife at yhe hospital. He has been married for 17 years. She is hospitalized with Diabetes. He kept saying “This is Answered prayer”. He then asked if we happen to have any “ size 11.5 shoes”.. well we just “happened” to have an almost new pair of Brooks! These will help with his bunion, they are very comfortable shoes. That’s how God works! We also met Dustin. He was a tulsa cop for many years. The drugs have taken a toll on his life. He has also been shot twice. He says he knows Jesus. Please pray for him! Next, we met Toya. She has been on the streets for 10 years. She previously was addicted to methamphetamines. She has now been addicted to fentanyl for 2 years. Every single day this drug is her goal. She works as a sex worker. She has 2 children , 23, and 11. She is 41 years old. When asked what she would like to do for an occupation, she says to be a hair dresser. She began to weep. She explained she previously had a career in the industry and desires to do it again. She still is a beautiful woman. She does not look her age. We explained to her that we have a great program for her. It is geared specifically for women in addiction and sex trafficking. She spoke of some of the traumatic things she has experienced. Horrible stuff! Please pray for her to reach out to us for help. The enemy keeps these women in bondage. The sin has a stronghold on their lives. Yet, Christ is GREATER than the enemy. He BROKE the chains of Sin on Calvary, over 2000 years ago. Please pray for all of the people we ministered to last night. Pray that their lives would be honoring to the Lord. HE REIGNS.
