Growing Relationships
Last night on the bus was great! We continued to grow relationships with those on the streets. The Lord sent Dejuan, he was at a bus stop…we previously gave him a ride months ago. He now has a job! He is living with his mom! It was very encouraging to see the Lord working in his life. He was very thankful for the ride. Next, we met Matt. He gets his disability check every month. He is having a hard time getting an apartment. We are going to guide him through the necessary steps to make this happen. The Lord sent us about 3 or 4 others whom we have met in the past. One gentleman stands out, “Shorty”… He has been on the streets for 13 years. We met him 8 years ago. He did 23 years in prison. He says he is comfortable on the streets. He enjoys getting high. It’s sad to see. Please pray for Shorty and all of the others. The Lord is so patient. The Lord is so faithful. HE gets the glory for the evening! Thankful for HIS Grace and Mercy.
