Normandy apartments

Very touching night on the bus. We met lots of folks on the streets. From the drug addict to the soon to be homeless guy (Darryl). Darryl was very hungry. He was on his bike carrying dog food for his Labrador. He made the comment “you know I would rather have food for my dog than myself”. Wow. We gave him options to get a new place. Please pray for Darryl. He loves Jesus. He is great guy. Yet, what was the most sad and touching was what happened shortly thereafter. We went to Normandy Apartments and encountered 2 different kids (12,13) who had no clothing. It was quite cold. One didn’t even have shoes on, the other came looking for socks. They live in poverty conditions. They have multiple siblings. They were so thankful to receive clothing, coats, socks and lots of pizza. One of them wants to follow through with believers baptism. Pray for these kids. We take so much for granted. We were also joined by Fred And Rose, they used to be homeless. They have come so far in the 2.5 years of us knowing them. They are sober and holding down full time employment. Fred pulled up in his company issued truck. Amazing! The Lord is faithful! HE REIGNS!
