Touching Night

Very touching night on the bus. So many things happened. I will name a few. First and foremost we were joined by Terry. She use to be on the streets involved in prostitution and drug use, she now has almost 2 years clean! The Lord used her in a mighty way. We picked up “Tracey” whom we have met in the past. She has 2 weeks clean off dope, and recently broke up with an abusive boyfriend. She had been with him for years. She lives in one of the run down hotels in the area. Terry was able to encourage her in the Lord. She kept telling her to become solely dependent on HIM, and not a manipulative boyfriend. Tracey wept as our ladies gave her clothes, shoes, and other hygiene stuff. She kept saying “this is from God, I needed all this stuff right now”. Yep! That is how HE works! HE is not a god of confusion! We were able to pray with her and Terry gave her number to her. She has plenty of options to be successful. The most touching part of the evening came as we were dropping Terry off. We pulled into her complex and we had plenty of pizzas left. We began to hand out pizza and pray with folks. Lots of kids and adults were hungry spiritually and physically. So this kid “Marcus” comes aboard the bus and we spoke with him for a bit. He voiced his prayer requests for his grandparents whom he lives with. They are in poor health. We prayed for him, and them. He went on his way. Then about 20 minutes later he returns. He was crying. He simply wanted to say thanks for the prayer and that he “felt it deeply”. He proceeded to hug all of us one by one. Wow! Incredibly touching evening! Please pray for Marcus, Tracey, and all the others that we encountered. Pray that they will get plugged into the churches that we recommended. Pray for their hearts to be guarded against the enemy’s schemes. The Lord moved in a mighty way last night! HE REIGNS! Thankful for all who came out. Thankful for all who support this ministry. Thankful for the awesome ladies who always keep the bus organized. Thankful for Jesus who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Bless you!
