Jesus Saves!
What an incredible night on the bus! Brandon surrendered his life to Jesus! He is 25 years old, and was walking to QuickTrip when we encountered him. He had seen the bus at Patricia’s store, and was curious about what we were doing out there. We will be following up with him in the coming days.
Another awesome thing happened: A lady who serves with us occasionally explained that she has now been sober for nearly four months! She made an agreement with another gentleman (who was saved on the bus in August) that she would stop drinking when he went to rehab. They committed that they would be sober together! She expressed how God has been moving in her heart through what she sees Him doing on the bus. Powerful! Very touching to watch her literally cry while rejoicing in the Lord!
Finally, watching my buddy (who served 10 years in prison) share his faith and encourage others who have been in a similar situation as him, was encouraging. God always has a different plan than us, His ways are not our ways. We didn’t know what to expect on a cold night at 11th and Garnett; yet, He had a plan! Brandon left forever changed.
