A Mother in Crisis
This picture sums up our night last night. A young lady named Kara came to us, pregnant and very scared. Her life has been filled with sin, and she has no custody of her other children. But, she became a new creation tonight, surrendering her life to Jesus in saving faith (Romans 10:9). As it turned out, a homeless gentlemen helped her all day yesterday, and he would not leave her until she was safe on the bus with us tonight. Wow! We see so many young women get taken advantage of, yet this man truly cared for this young lady. He has 6 months of sobriety himself. We put Kara in a hotel, and us guys went to Walmart to get the typical “woman stuff.” It’s not easy to shop for a woman! As always, we had some fun, and even found some women who helped us shop. She plans on putting the baby up for adoption, and we have put her into communication with some local pregnancy crisis centers. God is so faithful and mighty to save. Message us to get involved.
