Brakes fixed, ready to roll!
Great night tonight. Bus is back on the streets!! Very expensive brake work is complete, and it stops like it should. We met lots of nice folks tonight. We picked up some nice Spanish teenagers, homeless folks, a couple on a date, and met with lots of others. Cody stood out tonight, he is a 26 year old nice young man, who has been homeless 3 months, he struggles with Meth. He said his brother was his best friend, and he committed suicide 4 years ago. When one of the ladies was talking with him, he was getting emotional. She asked him if he has dreams of what he would have life to be like one day. He dreams of owning businesses (landscaping(construction type). Please pray for Cody to rely on his Savior to overcome the battle of addiction and follow his dreams. Also pray for the teenagers, they are not saved. They were presented the Gospel tonight very clearly. One of them is suppose to come out tomorrow with us for the Cinco de M ayo run. Extremely thankful for all the women who came out tonight. They flat out GOT AFTER IT!!!! They were bold with their faith! They brought all kinds of goodie bags for people! Yet more importantly they delivered the the Gospel to so many!!! God is faithful and mighty to save.
