Prayers are Answered!

Wow! What a night. Here a few highlights of many things that happened.

  1. Marshall was saved tonight! He made a profession of faith in Jesus, in front of everyone when we returned to 51st and Garnett. Unbelievers got to witness this unfold, which was even more encouraging! Thank you for your prayers!
  2. Picked up a younger couple who are homeless. She was pregnant, and they also had their 15-month-old with them. He said he had just prayed for “something to happen for them to have a place to sleep.” Providentially, God placed us at 21st and Yale. They were hungry, very hungry. They have fallen on hard times financially and have been homeless for two weeks. Two passengers on the bus contributed money to this couple for a hotel stay and other needs. Wow! I’m talking about people with very little money stepping up and sharing what they had financially!!! We also found work for the husband to start tomorrow. He was extremely thankful.
  3. Shared the Gospel with Zack along with his nieces (we picked them up at 21st and memorial where they were airing up their bicycles). He wants Jesus but doesn’t want to be a hypocrite, because he has another angry side in his life. We explained that all humans are hypocrites! That’s why we have Jesus! Only He is perfect! Pray for this man’s salvation!
  4. Rich had some bibles engraved with Shannon, Tyman, and Marshall’s names on them. They received these tonight.
  5. Picked up some nice ladies with a sweet little boy in a stroller. She had to ask me to give the kid back. That was one cool, calm 2-year-old.
  6. So many other things happened…frisbee and football in the Warehouse Market parking lot, and lots of pizza!
