Lots of New Folks
Great night on the bus. We met lots of new folks tonight. We went to 11th Garnett and parked the bus behind the hotel. There were so many children just running around playing hide and seek etc. One was literally trying to climb on the 3rd story roof! They were very hungry, patiently waiting outside for their parents to do their “activities” in the hotel. Thankful that we were able to feed so many tonight. It is very disheartening to see children being neglected. Sin is very real in people’s lives. The enemy is out to destroy families and to see children lose their parents. Yet, for the parents who we were able to speak with tonight, they received options to help them. One must come to the end of themselves and their personal sin in order for true change to take place (Romans 10:9). Christ received the payment that OUR SIN deserved, he died that we may have eternal life (Romans 6:23). We were able to connect with Brad and Alonzo tonight. They have both been sober for a few weeks! It was exciting to see them smiling all evening! Please pray for all the folks we encountered tonight, especially for the children to be protected. Pray that the folks will submit to the King Of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. HE GIVES LIFE! HE provides the victory over Sin. Thankful for Jameece serving with us tonight! She is a blessing!
