A Bunch of Kids
How the Lord works! We only had a few servants with us last night, but the Lord had a plan. We picked up pizzas and found a bunch of kids playing basketball, so we played a pick-up game with them. Then we sat and ate pizza and talked with them. The Lord was working. There was a girl named Jada who was very interested in the Gospel. They were all about 10 to 13 years old (Keyland, Keyshawn, Kiki, Lucas, and Jada). Keyland said he was an atheist, and we were able to have a good conversation with him. The Lord opened up the door for us to meet many others in the park. We hit the streets for a little while as well and were able to give a few people rides on the bus. They were very thankful for the pizza, hygiene packs, Bibles, and prayer. Some of their names are Cameron, Marion, Leslie, Odessa, David Richard, and Robert. There are some very awesome things happening behind the scenes as well. We have been ministering to a gentleman named Quay for a few weeks now. He is homeless and attends the local welding school; he’s 28 years old. He got a job and was able to work the whole week and get paid today without missing work or school. The Lord is working in his life; he calls us every day to check in. It’s pretty powerful to hear him praise Jesus and give thanks for all that is happening in his life. We are thankful for our partners who provide work for those struggling and for all who support the ministry. Please continue to pray for all the names mentioned above as well as outreach every week. HE is on the throne! HE is alive and well!
