Searching for his Stolen Bicycle
Great night on the bus. We met new faces …Nate, Lonnie, Ben, and “Shadow”. Each of these people have a unique story. They all have their struggles. Yet, Christ awaits to carry these burdens. HIS love never fails. HE is mighty to deliver on HIS promises. Please pray for all of these names mentioned. Lonnie is from Charleston, South Carolina. He came out here to go to an alcohol treatment facility. The program didn’t work out for him. He decided to leave yesterday. He was there for 3 1/2 weeks. He made the decision to drink. Last night he slept in his vehicle. He is a painter by Trade. He was very proud to show off his tools. He requested scripture recommendations to read, as well as a job opportunity. We have a job lined out for him with a painting company. Please pray that he calls us. Please pray for him not to listen to lies of the enemy. The Lord is faithful. The Lord continues to show HIS glory. HE is not a god of confusion. HE is the God of Spirit and TRUTH. HE takes our sin and makes us NEW creatures. HE took the death we deserved and nailed it to the cross. HE is faithful. Please pray for all of the names mentioned. The Lord can do the miraculous! One more thing.. The last picture is a bicycle that we gave away last night. This bicycle was given by a church member of Arrow Heights Baptist Church. He has owned this bicycle for about 40 years. He had it tuned up and wanted to give it to someone. Well, last night we met a gentleman who was out searching for his stolen bicycle. He was very discouraged. He works full-time, and this was his only mode of transportation. Next thing you know God orchestrated what only HE can do…..Bicycle, extra tube, bag, helmet and air pump. That’s the God we worship. HE provides. HIS timing is perfect ! HE REIGNS!
