Playing Russian Roulette
Last night was incredible on the bus! We had so many witnessing opportunities! The Lord sent lots of new faces ! We met up with lots of familiar faces, including Jalen again! Relationships are being built! Lives WILL be changed! We also met a gentleman by the name of Alex. HE is 29 years old. He has a total of eight children. He has been with his wife for 13 years. They have five children together. He has 3 other children in California. He has had a drug problem for his whole marriage. He is currently on meth. His wife lives with his mother. He still sees his kids almost daily. His says his older kids are aware of his drug problem. His younger kids still look at him as “sweet hearted”.. (those are his words). He feels liks a failure to his wife and kids. Alex knows he is playing Russian roulette every day. The drugs are laced and it’s just a matter of time before an overdose happens. Please pray for Alex. Please continue to pray for Jalen. We were able to speak with him at length again last night. We ended the evening at the Rose Bowl. There were about five families finishing up a track practice. They were so thankful for all the pizza. We were able to pray with lots of family members. All of the kids were smiling! Incredible ! The Lord is faithful! HE REIGNS!
