Switched Things Up

We switched things up last night on the bus. We had a few people who couldn’t make it out with us so we decided to take two homeless folks to a restaurant. We know one of them very well,  we have been ministering to him for quite some time. However, the other one we were called by yesterday morning. He was referred to us by John 3:16. His name is George. He is 44 years old. He was previously married. He has a 25 year-old daughter. His ex-wife overdosed two years ago. He has struggled with crack cocaine for many years, And most recently he started doing meth instead.  He struggles with depression. He struggles with self-worth. He has been living in a hotel for three months.  Yesterday he decided he wanted to get sober. He made the decision to reach to us. Today is day two of sobriety. We were able to get him some groceries and get him into his first Celebrate Recovery meeting tonight. He is very thankful. He wants to paint houses again one day.. previously he had his own Painting business for 13 years. Please pray for George. Please pray for george to get into the right program that would benefit him. Most importantly pray for George to  know Jesus personally. The Lord can do the miraculous! Also please pray for Quay. We were able to take him out to dinner as well last night. He needs a job. He goes to Tulsa Welding school full-time. He lives in a tent. His situation is a difficult one. Yet, God can make all things NEW. HE REIGNS.
